| So Blair's switch-hitting, Schroder's presenting his staunch resolve, and Chirac is proving to be a thorn in Bush's side. Blair's unpopular enough that it really won't matter that he finally found his head again, and it's good Chirac's keeping to his guns - somebody has to stand up to the Bush machine! (and I like the bear hug mention with Schroder =P) There was a nice Schroder piece in the op-ed of the NYTimes a couple days ago, outlining a big UN role in Iraqi peace amidst all the diplomaspeak. The sad part is that the only reason that Bush might seek a deal now is because his polls are finally taking a dive from the mess we made in the birthplace of civilization...
