No, when a Christian states that God speaks to them...it not as you and I do...it is spiritual...he leads your heart and mind in the right direction.....he doesn’t sit at your table and have a cup of coffee with you....if you said that...than even I would be concerned. |

I don't have a problem with people who see visions, hear voices, are "spoken to" by way of abstract feelings, have strange itches in funny places, or anything else you or I can't feel for ourselves. I DO, however, have a big problem with people who use these "feelings" to dictate national policy or to even expect anyone to blindly assume he isn't a crackpot.
If you want to run my country, show me something I (and people of ALL faiths, or lack of) can understand other than a strange buzz between your ears. How do I know it isn't a hangover?
