| I can't understand why anyone would pay that much money for jeans. It should be morally wrong to do that when your neighbor down the street is eating mac n cheese every day and wearing hand me downs from his mother's uncle's sister in law.
Not that designer clothes wouldn't flatter my vanity, but what is up with everyone flattering their vanities?
And as far as the sweatshops comment - even if the people working there ARE of legal age to work, they still make in two weeks what we pay for one pair of jeans at Wal Mart - check it out on Dateline NBC - a story about a girl named Masuma from Bangladesh - it's despicable the conditions she and her family live in while slaving away for Wal Mart. |
