And if you are proposing eliminating exemptions then which exemptions would you eliminate specifically. I ask about eliminating exemptions because this is usually where those who propose a flat tax are heading. For example, would this mean a flat tax of 15% on the very poorest who are existing near the poverty level? And would it mean a flat tax of 15% on the very wealthy, regardless of actual net profit? Or have you considered any of these questions? |
