I think if you take the trouble to look, you're bound to be able to find some examples of atrocities being committed by people of all faiths and religions (save perhaps for Buddhism, which, arguably, isn't a religion). But It really is outrageous when such acts are condoned or even sanctioned by the state. That's why I've always said that large portions of sharia law should be denounced and/or abolished and those Muslim states who do not do so are as guilty as the perpetrators of these atrocities.
