Sigh.

What inequality Belverrone? In a name? Gvie me a break would ya? Civili Union = Marriage sans the word "marriage" for legal intents and purposes. So there is no inequality. Next.

As for the word game Prometheus... why did Gay Marriage fail in ever state it's been tried via refferendum? Oh because the majority of Americans have an affinity for "marriage" and don't want it messed with.

So your plan of removing the name wouldn't fly either. So your solution is a non-solution.

I am offering a reasonable comprimise that give both sides what they want. Homosexuals want the rights and legal status of Marriage, most Americans want "Marriage" to mean a man and a woman.

Damn, why is that so freaking hard for people to understand?

There is no inequality if both Civil Unions and Marriage confer the same Rights and Legal Standing.

If you try and alter "Marriage" the public has shown time and again they won't stand for it.

So QUIT mucking with marriage and comprimise. You WON'T get people to accept Gay Marriage, and you WON'T get them to remove the term either. Get it? You're both pushing losing causes for.. what? A word? Why?

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?
