| This is ridiculous. It has clear simean (monkey) roots. I just attended a presentation from a professor of genetics at my university about HIV/AIDS. He sequenced all the known strains of HIV/AIDS and did a phylogenetic comparison. He was able to *clearly* demonstrate that in the last 60 years the human form of HIV/AIDS has evolved from a monkey virus. Where does it tie in with the monkeys? Polio vaccine. Monkey blood serum was used to produce the vaccine back during the war on polio. It took 35 years for the virus to evolve to a deadly form, but as soon as it did, it started an epidemic.
