Yes there was a time when Europe was engaged in taking over the world but that thinking has gone by the wayside in the last half of the 20th century. China on the other hand is still convinced that it is the rightfull ruler of the world and has the attitude that "it might take thousands of years but eventually we will be the rulers of all"
