| Hmmm... I think basic human kindness is merely another "survival" trait passed down from generation to generation via evolution. HOWEVER. We ARE reasoning beings, so you would think we could conciously decide to be kind, right? Well... maybe those of us who decide to use reason will decide to be kind...
I think that the problem here is that people won't recognize that there is any awareness beyond their own; it actually takes as much faith to totally accept that as it does to accept a god(s). You can't really prove it, but... there are always results to go by. |
