Magic and or some religious ritual are necessary and are integral parts of most deity based religious systems. One cannot remove ritual or magical thinking from the religious system no more that one could remove a one or zero from binary code and still hope a computer would give correct answers.
I believe that with your current mind set you may be incapable of understanding religious thought. To truly debate such in good faith doesn't require an indoctrination into any religion, however, it does require an open mind, and good faith attitude, forgive me if I am wrong but I feel that you have expressed neither in this thread. Feel free to correct me if I have misrepresented you or your intentions.
