We seem to be slaves to our senses and intuition. Even the unparalleled genius of Einstine faltered when confronted with the implications of the quantum mechanical universe. Newton’s idea of the universe was different than Einstine curved space-time geometrician universe, and the curved space-time universe is different from the quantum gravitational universe. The quantum mechanical, the Newtonian, and the curved space time universe of einstine all abate, or fail in certain places and spaces and or events in our weird universe.
We perceive the past as the present moment because of our slow (compared to the speed of c or light) bio chemical brain, which move nerve impulses at relatively slow un-relativistic speeds. I feel that our brain functions are not comprised by this seemingly slow speed, but enhanced. Why?
Its my opinion that our brain and mind operate on a many levels performing simultaneous calculations, with quantum interactions being processed as well. Our brain/mind combination would not work if our nerves processed signals at light speed. Or if it did work we would be a soulless predatory creature with ungodly quick instinctive traits and reaction times.
This reality seems to be a construct that is built of our own blueprint with a deity for an architect. Science cannot answer some phil questions nor should it attempt to. Religion cannot answer some pure scientific questions nor should it attempt such a insignificant task. However I feel that religion and science will merge as one in the near future
Already many scientists are invoking god , or the concept of god to give meaning to thier hollow and unsatisfying theroys. From Hawkins (who claims to be an athiest) to Einstine, while not succumbing to admiting that they believe in god, nevertheless uses a deity based influence ,or power to illustrate a purpose to this reality. We need more than just a cold lonely non-GID universe and we have somthing more, that would be god.
I happen to believe that a GID (god or intelligent designer) is much more logical than a universe that sprang into existence from the void, and the nothing, which didn’t include space, time, gravity, or anything that we would understand...except for GID.
