| I am ranting at those asembled who continue to bemoan how one religious group or another is discriminated against. It happens - people treat other people like crap for no good reason. Unfortunately that's life, and no amount of legislation or politically-correct activism will change that.
Many Christians feel like they are being put upon by those who don't want to hear about christmas. Many atheists think they are going to melt if they hear a prayer. Many christians think the sky will fall if they hear an atheist teacher. Some people like me just practice my religion in peace and neither tell others what to do, or moan that we are being discriminated against. And this is coming from the practicer of a faith that was shafted out of constitutional rights and driven out of their homes in the dead of winter.
Fixed ideas are like a cramp in the foot - the best remedy against it is to tread on it.
