With current missile technology, its not far fetched. I'm guessing that the average yield of the warheads are around 1 megatonne btw.
If spread over at equal distances, even if the initial blast doesn't effect us we'd still have to deal with the radiation and then the nuclear fallout, there will be a hell of a lot of radioactive isotopes in the air and circulating around the atmosphere even decades after.
