| Would you accept a peaceful, but boring life? Let's say you get your favourite form of government. Socialism, fascism, democracy, libertarianism, etc.
And let's say that government finally solves all the world's problems.
The sacrifice, then, is that there are no more challenges. Everything is 100% perfect. You are given a secure (if somewhat boring) job. Your life under the new regime becomes perfect, so you don't need to improve anything.
Would you accept this sacrifice for a perfect world?
