While I think that Bush is against gay marriage I agree with Young on many other points. I apologize for the way he has stated his beliefs because it makes it sound that Christians do not love gays and that God does not love gays. Please understand that we love you as people but do not love your sin. Young is right in that God did make humans to be with their own sex. Genesis 2:22-24 says And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Now someone will probably point out the fact that it doesn't say that Adam and Eve were married but I think God makes a pretty God pastor and he is the ultimate Justice of the Peace.
No sin is greater than another I agree. I am a sinner I'll admit but I try my best to follow God's commandments everyday. While I make mistakes constantly I am not living in a life of sin continually. Do you understand what I am trying to say?
My personal belief is that homosexual tendencies are an outward show of some inner hurt. Whether the homosexual person was abused(mentally or physically) at some point in life or betrayed by someone close to them its not really a natural tendency. Its not something we are born with.
I also dislike sows like Queer eye and Will and Grace because whether we watch those shows or nor we are subjected to the advertisements. Then again I don't like seeing the ads for the Simpsons and That 70's Show because of the perverted nature of them. I think shows like that show the moral decline of our country. I am not saying that all tv is bad or that we shold all watch christian shows like 700 Club(which personally bore me out of my mind). I watch Lost and Numb3rs. I like the banter in Gilmore Girls although sometimes that show can get kindof risque. I don't believe that shows that have questionable material should be advertised during time slots where kids will be watching because their minds are fragile and they suck in everthing they hear.
