Merlin ... Your opinion is noted pooey. However I disagree. Define your opinion as to a biological system being open or closed.
Define your position as to the universe as being an open or closed system.
Also you must define precisely your opinion on the energy type (in a biological system) There are many energy inputs to biological systems.
And please be brief as possible. If not for me, for the sake of the other members. I can answer the two above questions in one long or two short sentences.
