| france didn't have a word to stay true to. they greatly objected to the clinton administration withdrawing the weapons inspectors, and then continued to state that something should be done. they did not think an invasion was the solution. but that doesn't mean they're going to turn their back on the rebuilding effort, it just means they wouldn't play a part in the destroying effort. |
