Merlin...This pacifist attitude may work ,or may not work, in a one to one confrontation. In a nuclear age the preemptive strike will be the (nearly last) one. Love of your fellow man is the answer. Easy to say difficult to follow. And has been out there for over 2000 years. It must take us a very long time to learn a very simple lesson! Man is devolving if anything as is the rest of the universe. Order into disorder, science says, (as well as some religious doctrine) not the other way round .(The second law of thermodynamics )
