There are lots of
atheists in
foxholes, of course.
I don't have to "believe" you have a wife. If it doesn't cost me anything, I can just listen to you tell me that and nod. If I have an occasion where it is important for me to find out if you're telling the truth, then I can request that proof. There is no reason for me to 'believe' it at all.
Jesus probably never
