And who is the "we?" Are you liimiting the "we" to the United States? Since Benedict the XVI is the pope of the entire Catholic Church (and that was the supposed timliness connection to this thread), it would seem that he represents a lot broader area of the world. Be that as it may, what direct relation does that have to the issue of how people perceive homosexual behavior? At least in generally accepted terms, it is immoral to tell a lie, is it not?

I'm just making a comparison. The two are equally immoral IMO, but while churches may speak out against pre-marital sex, you don't see the social pressure against it like you do homosexuality.

Even in the countries that still pusnish women for it, it's only women. So it has more to do with their rules for woman than morality, or they'd put the men in trouble too.
