And who is the "we?" Are you liimiting the "we" to the United States? Since Benedict the XVI is the pope of the entire Catholic Church (and that was the supposed timliness connection to this thread), it would seem that he represents a lot broader area of the world. And, my understanding is that there
are a number of places (especially in Islamic-controlled regions) where those engaged in pre-marital sex
are "strung up." Be that as it may, what direct relation does that have to the issue of how people perceive homosexual behavior? At least in generally accepted terms, it is immoral to tell a lie, is it not?
