At any rate, I find it pointless to bicker over differences between the so-called "left" and "right", and even more pointless to bicker over "Democrat" vs. "Republican." Do you people realize that the reason the past two presidential elections have been so close is because
there is no substanitive difference between the two major parties anymore.
Both parties are bought and sold by special interests,
both expand the size and scope of government at every possible turn,
both continously pass laws that are beyond the Founding Fathers' intent for government, et cetera ad nauseum. Arguing whether the Democrats or Republicans are responsible for the problems of our country is like arguing whether green is a better color then yellow - pointless.
