| What I find revealing about this particular screed is that it is an all out attack not on "the left", so called, but the Enlightenment as a whole. Without the Enlightenment there would have been no American revolution and no industrial revolution, for that matter. Darwin and his scientific method are evil. It is a simple attack on reason over faith.
How does the old saying go ...no one expected the Spanish inquistion. The author is an over-writing would-be inquisitor.
