superluminal time travel realized, for photons anyway!

remember my father telling me they had discovered particles in space that do go faster... and that was back in the 80's.

Yes, although I was alluding to a different experiment carried out last year and early this year superluminal velocities were theorized in the 80s I believe by forcing a quark into its wave state....Most recently light velocity has been increased by what I call celisum enhancement. Scientists at the NEC research lab in Princeton, New Jersey conducted a wonderful experiment...

They used a laser that injected light into one end of a tube just a few centimeters long, about an inch.5 filled with the metal cesium in a gaseous form, the laser pulse was timed going in, and timed ,with an atomic "stopwatch" so to speak, coming out. (acually it ws bouncing to and fro in the mirrored tube before exiting)

The pulse (coming out) was faster than it should have been to say the least! About 300 times faster, 558,000 miles per sec or many (too lazy to do the math) hundred millions of MPH (about) that my friend is cooking.!
Ahhhh'... well, do tell! I do wonder if it has any time travel implications? ...Hint (if the experiment pans out it will have profound time travel implications!!!!) Pardoxes delux...I cant wait!
