I remember when I played Ultima Online, it was the player killers who made the game truly challenging and interesting... more than the programmed monsters in the game.
If there were no criminals or exploiters, who would show us what NOT do to? Crisis compels growth. Just as a person's body would atrophy without gravity to fight against, so we need conflict in order to grow emotionally and mentally as individuals. Some people try to cheat though >
The best way to grow is to recognize the crisis before it arrives (yay reason!) and prepare for it, if you can. But... who usually sees a problem before it arrives?
