| No, you must be clear, which I must say you are not trying to be. Pregnancy and sex irresponsibly (using your words) - the bad (?) or good (?) consequence of irresponsible sex/pregnancy is what? Abortion? Because it is a consequence, right? And any woman will tell you that getting an abortion is a very weighty and tough decision. I watched my mom hug and talk to a teenager who just got an abortion and was sitting at a McDonalds crying, thank God my mom was there to offer solace and comfort to a girl that made a tough (and in my opinion the wrong choice of those available to her) choice.
So let me be clear, are you saying irresponsible sex is bad and the abortion isn’t. Or are you saying both should be lessened, through whatever means you wish; (education, contraception, in a committed relationship such as marriage… whatever you choose. Condoms do not reduce irresponsible sex by the way.). Again, would you agree with the senators that abortion, as a consequence of other, as you called it “irresponsible behavior,” be lessened or increased?
This is a very simple question which you haven’t answered yet. Is there anyone besides Bishop or Gorgo that can say it should be increased or it should be decreased? Anyone? Bueller?
